Colony 47’s PaKT Coordinator, Jennifer Clayton, has been selected to participate in the 2018 Emerging Community Leaders Program.
Tasmanian Community Fund runs the Emerging Community Leaders Program which recognises the need to invest in and train Tasmania’s next community leaders.
Ms Clayton said that, not only is it a great experience, but it is also giving her the opportunity to work on a community project idea which she has been working on for some time.
“I am so excited to be working on a project that means so much to me, with a group of passionate, capable and creative people,” said Ms Clayton.
“Together we will develop, launch and deliver a program in the north of the state that will engage Dads in parenting, playgroup and community programs with a focus on community engagement.”
Ms Clayton was one of 23 community sector workers selected through a competitive, state-wide application process.
Colony 47 is very proud of Ms Clayton’s achievement and looks forward to supporting her to succeed.
The Emerging Community Leaders Program helps people working in the community sector develop their leadership potential.
Applications for the 2019 program are now open and will close 30 November 2018.
Please consider nominating an emerging leader.
