Keys to the Future - KEYS

Keys to the Future (KEYS) – The KEYS program provides supportive property and tenancy management across 100 properties to clients of the STAY program.

The KEYS program delivers property management through the State Government’s Same House Different Landlord initiative. Tenants with high and complex needs and a history of experiencing barriers accessing housing are supported over an approximate period of two years to develop independent living skills. The tenant support is provided by Centacare through the STAY program which delivers the State Government’s Specialist Intervention Tenancy Service.

Referral to the STAY program is highly targeted and can only be received from Statewide and Mental Health services, DCYFS (Child Protection and Community Youth Justice), Corrective Services (Tasmanian Prison Services and Community Corrections), Specialist Homelessness Services and Housing Tasmania.
