Employment Focused Programs

CAA (Career Advice Australia) has four separate programs contained within it. NICS (National Industry Career Specialists), RICA (Regional Industry Careers Advisers), LCP (Local Community Partnerships) and YP (Youth Pathways).

JPET - Job Placement, Employment and Training

JPET Works with young people aged 15 to 21 on education and employment issues.

JMP - Justice Mentoring Program

The Justice Mentoring Program assists indigenous persons approaching the end of a prison sentence to obtain employment post release and to assist the participants in re-integrating successfully back into the wider community.

JOBNET

JobNet Tasmania Inc. is a joint venture between three well established Tasmanian employment and training service providers:
Colony 47 Inc., Mersey Skill Training Inc. and Northern Tasmania Employment and Community Services.

PSP - Personal Support Programme

PSP provides services to people on income support who, because of multiple non-vocational barriers, are unable to get a job or benefit from employment programmes such as the Job Network.

NAC -New Apprenticeship Centre

NAC Provides information and services to employers and people interested in new apprenticeships.

CMS - Colony Mentoring Services

Provides mentoring services and activities to young disadvantaged people (12-25 years old) to support them achieve their personal goals. Aims to increase young people's engagement with family, education, training, the workplace and the community.
