Community Programs

Colony 47 provides services that assist individuals and families in Aboriginal communities and to newly arrived humanitarian entrants.

• Aboriginal Information and Referral Service (AIRS) is a community based referral service for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders.


• ActionMan encourages the uptake of healthy recreation and lifestyles by men who currently face significant barriers to a healthy lifestyle.


• Healing Our Way (HOW) is a state based program that provides pre and post release support and capacity building initiatives to Aboriginal men in detention and to their families.
  
  
• Community Support Advisory Service provides support to Veterans across Tasmania to access local recreation and social activities.
  
  
• Complex Case Support Services Colony 47 offers intensive support to Humanitarian entrants and refugees who have multiple and complex disadvantages.
