JobNet Tasmania Inc. is a joint venture between two well established Tasmanian employment and community services providers: Colony 47 Inc and Mersey Skill Training Inc.

JobNet Tasmania Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) is contracted by the Australian Government to deliver services to employers and apprentices. These services include assisting the parties to select the most appropriate Australian Apprenticeship or Traineeship, completing the Training Contract with the employer and the apprentice and assessing and paying Australian Government incentives to the employer and/or the apprentice. The program also advises on other State Incentives, conducts monitoring visits and calls throughout the apprenticeship and offers support to both employer and apprentice at any time during the apprenticeship.
